We know nothing.
Isn't it a Q1/Q2 2019 release?
There are lots of rumours and it's been in dev or planning for a long, long time.
My guess is something like Star Citizen with social and building elements.
All I know is it’s a BGS game and it’s a proper Sci-fi Rpg!
Hasn’t been a good one of those since Mass effect trilogy.
I'm quoting you Todd Howard don't you dare go back on this!!
He has said it both on stage and in the E3 interview so looks like it’s a next gen BGS rpg but with new sci-fi IP!
He actually said in the interview above that if they didn't have the Fallout IP they would have made this game already, so it sounds like a passion project for him. That makes me pretty excited. I'm already hyped - goddam it.
I'm more impressed that the leak about this years ago was real.
As per any E3 "announcement" with just a logo teaser, this won't be out anytime soon..
I kinda wish they didn’t reveal it because now I wants it!!!!
I wants it too.
Is this going to be like Freelancer?
All I want is freelancer but on a bigger scale. I want to be able to fly in a random direction for hours find a jump gate that no one else has and it takes you to a system with very unique and expensive loot so to protect it you build up turrets and stuff and become a secret trader. Would be so cool. Freelancer had such an amazing atmosphere to it.. Until people discovered how easy it was to cheat in.
I know this game is meant to be single player but one can dream.
Someone had to build the jump gate to begin with...............
Quality single player experiences like this are what I want most, I'm so excited!
Yeah, let the excitement really begin with some gameplay footage in the future. If this launches a year or so after Cyberpunk 2077 it'll be alright.
That sounds like an awesome concept and a game I'd happily play!! Hopefully it’s not this game though, this sounds great as it is.
Starfield: Official Teaser Trailer
Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery. Launching November 11, 2022 exclusively on Xbox Series X/S and PC
Hard to be hyped when launch is a year and a half away though. Should have done a Fallout 4 and be like “look at this cool shit btw it launches this year”.
I dunno if I can get excited about another game on the same broken ass engine they've been using the skeleton of since Morrowind.
Creation engine 2.0. I knew it was coming but why does Bethesda keep thinking this is a boast?
I fully expect the game to be mediocre at best until the community does QA (modding) on it and turns it into something okay.
