It may have been going for a little while already, going by the fact that I found a lacewing nymph on my first outing.

Flashed shots - I made a new modifier for my speedlight. Seems to throw out some pretty soft light now, but is hampered by the same problem as all my previous setups: when you get real close, the shadows get quite dark.

Today I learned that bees have hair on their eyes.

Now I get what you mean about "how do they see" when coated with pollen.
