Stream Deck questions

Dumb questions from someone that is looking to by a stream deck, but no point in buying one if it's not going to work.

Can it send instructions / commands to two different apps running on the same computer?

ie I'm running OBS and have a web page open. Can the stream desk send effective key presses to OBS and mouse clicks to the web page? Thanks!

I think this is possible, i did some googling and found this.


There's a plugin called Super Macros (https://github.com/BarRaider/streamdeck-supermacro) and it has the ability to control the mouse with right and left click.

{{MOUSEPOS14500,52000}},{{RBUTTON}},{{MOUSEPOS15500,47000}},{{LBUTTON}}

This moves the mouse to the scene, left click it, move the mouse to interact and right click.

 

Also before even buying a steamdeck, download the software and see what plugins etc it has, will help let you know whats possible.
