Spent the afternoon bashing my head against a wall trying to work out why my times in XP were so incredibly bad compared to 7. Big thanks to Bullant for helping me with that one  still loads more to do here, but after finally getting it working right, I need a break lol. I know from my win 7 testing that it can go tighter.

I think so much of it seems to be in the volts with this board also. Super easy to use then that last little bit is difficult unless you know the volts well. I've also noticed that with some of them you too high and you go backwards.

Rob are you noticing you core/ram/cache bouncing up and down or is it fairly static. Mines jumping a lot (f4y bios).

Yeah it does. From 4007 down to 3999 an everything in between. I'm using F3y. I haven't looked to see if it does it through the run though.

Cheers mate. Will jump back on it soon.

Good to know about the speeds and it's not just me LOL. My efficiency seems quite a bit off you actually and I wouldn't think Waz would gain that much. Still great effort though buddy.

First thing to improve your time would be to set those RTL's properly :p

This is just the timings I ran on Win7. Still many on auto, all the thirds and few secondaries. Hopefully get into the 21's when I'm done. Trfc won't go low as others. That hurts as the few loops I can do at 270 show a nice improvement.

Hey JD didn't want to leave it up forever but JunkDogg is #1 per your request in HUGE font[emoji106].

I knew I was missing something after all the reviews on DDR4 I'd read. You'd think I would know that by now doh. Can anyone answer why tRAS can go low like that on DDR4?

Played around with some sub-timings but was seeing nothing amazing.

decided to push the cache more and see what difference that makes. A lot of volts, but shit chip. Would be good if the fucker died.

Finally got X99 running again, spent a few hours just testing uncore today, this run here is just a stability test for uncore so mems all loose. Was all low volts "wanted to take it slow" (vl6 @ 1.47v and vring @ only 1.35v ,temps @ only -80 so should be plenty more in it once I push a little harder

Also was a direct boot from bios no gtl installed yet

More timings play. Pretty impressed for just a retail kit of 3000 CL15

    Very nice Rob

Maybe we should separate the results with 4ghz+ uncore to be far to anyone looking at doing it without a champion board or anything and 5ghz AMD because that shits slow

I would be posting something with a Pentium but one of my Sammy's doesn't work in my SOC Force although I might get something out with Dave's Hypers or just single channel to test the imc
