couldnt get 5G to finish a full run, it was definitely looking better.

Looking good guys,Sammy's look like fun.I know all chips imc are different, some don't really need much cold on the chip to see if imc will scale. What im getting at is some nice Mhz be interesting to see if imc may scale little further with bit off cold, possible?

yeh, for example, we ran my MFR for validations in cairns and got like 3334mhz with the CPU on SS, but i retested them on air, and got 3400 easily enough on air.

Hahaha, yeah it kinda does that. :p

I was playing around with the images and pulling different hues out of the image. It got some interesting results too, e.g. I had a look at what a Z87-OC would look like with red slots, yellow slots, green slots... you name it, I had a squiz. Truth be told, that orange is hot!

Heheheh. :Pirate: :D Thankfully the basics never change. It's the finer details that does the head in. :wired:

*tips hat* G'day ol' chap. It's certainly been a while. And it's good to see you've found your place in the tech business. :)

    Nice .25 gain! :D

Dino and I used air and LN2 on the weekend (CPU/RAM air then CPU/RAM LN2) and IMC performance was much the same. It was mostly timings that we were aiming for that sent us sub-zero.

    Hey guys,

Try X01 bios on GIGABYTE Z87X-OC, you can now manually tune advanced timings in both channels and set RTLs and IOLs directly

Tested frequency on PSC last night with Gigabyte Z87X-OC and new X01 bios. now to tune a bit more and apply wazza :)

    1391MHz 7-10-7-25-1T pass

guys, keep in mind that tight timings is not always better. Test everything, make notes and find what works best for your sticks, cpu and board! :)

Yeah, I was finding some that would give me gains until I dropped them too far. Some that just made things worse and others that were really good.

is it easiest just to take them one at a time at say 2600?
could anyone give advice on timings that may be interrelated?
ie, if you lower this you have to lower this as well?

    MOAR benching 2nite

Big struggle with wazza tonight, ended up resorting to some old school shyte and got one decent bonus loop. Also had a single 5GHz run with 1384MHz on RAM with 5m56.6 iirc but the friggin bloody aida crashed the setup and it was all downhill from there. Gotta put the chip on LN2 next time and get uncore up too

Still trying to figure it out though but i'll get there :)

New platform, very excitement for dat in Borat voice :D

This Z87X-OC board seems to be a winner :) So far it is the Haswell board of choice.
