So newlife you have some Pi 2200 cl7 that have code 1200 on them?Do they clock any good, like 2666 8-12-8,or if you on ivy 2600?On the edge of the dim not the HS does the code start with ST or KO?If they are the KO is the code 8117 or 8155?

They're the sticks I got from zeropluszero.

They can run at 2600 c7-12-8 on ivy but run much faster with c8-12-8 although I still have much more testing to do on them since its been warm I haven't really had a good chance to test them

And on the edge is KO-8117 including a hj which is circled

    3770K Z77 Mpower 38x105.28, Vengeance Pro 2133 C9@ 2245 C9 unoptimised timings, no waza.

    Gotta start somewhere :)

I gather my single sided Corsair Vengeance pro 2133 C9 are samsung or are they hynix? They do boot in at 2600 9-12-12 but i am trying to get it going for pi now.

Thought i'd give superpi a go.

First run on a fresh XP install. no tweaks, just my usual 24-7 memory settings.

Man it's a step back in time opening XP after years of not using it.
    Guess now the tweaking begins.

If anyone has any advice, my ears are wide open.

    tweaks;
    after largesystemcache,
its 90% ram timings. you can change those in memtweakit though, might need to up the memory volts (and possibly IMC) to stabilize.

the rest, google 'copy waza' and look into enabling largesystemcache and disabling the non-essential services.

a good 32m setup is the stepping stone to a solid performing setup in just about every other benchmark, even the 3d ones (especially the CPU bound 3d programs)

What t8y has said there in the end paragraph is so unbelievably true. Ive learned so much about system tweaking and the importance it can have in nearly every benchmark from trying to nail 32M scores.

A perfect example of this is chasing a big physics score in 3dmark11. I get a great score using my ram at the same settings for 32M runs.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I had a good read through Robbo's stuff and found it very clear on what to do. Everything went great.

Last time I tried was with my E8600 and trying to get 1m under 10s, talk about a blast from the past!). I never had any interest in 32m cause I CBF waiting that long.

So, after running the baseline, I thought I'd set a goal time to go for at 8m20s thinking this would be achievable with this ram and my experience in superpi.

    Boy, that was an anti-climax.

That was a huge 13.5s difference just in windows tweaks and TWCL6 instead of 7. Blown away. Time to adjust my goal.

Ive been playing with these vengeance pro 2133 C9 sticks, they are Micron by what the corsair page t8y linked earlier,

i am going up the multi's with the rams set to xmp auto and they set up at 10-13-13 at 2400 and 11-14-14 at 2600, boots and windows stable at those speeds and timings @1.8v?

What volts and speeds should i be aiming for with these microns. Everyone talks about samsung, hynix and psc but ?

they did 2666 with a bit of bclk too. Clock better than my single sided samsung trident x 2400 c10....
