As soon as these rumbles are over and I get back from Holidays. I sir shall challenge you to a AMD duel. Should be good fun and a good way to bring out the best.

I've already done a bit of reading into the AMD stuff. Looks like Phenom II X6's are the way to go. a 1090T or 1100T seem to give good results.

Nice Scott ,I should really just start my own memory thread save cramping this thread with my 1000 subs

On a side note will post some air and cold PSC memory results on the M7I as soon as I get a chance to sit down with it,should be interesting

Great to hear JD. It will be good to see some AMD scores in the OP. Question then for the AMD users, is 4ghz easy enough to reach in general or would it be easier (slower:eek:) to run AMD's at a lower speed for more scores?

Looking forward to those results man

Since Phenom II it's been easy. These days you would have to downclock them lol.

Cheers Bull. IF you really want to start a new that would be fine, but I would honestly be happy to work with you in some to include a section in the OP to keep it all in one place. That way you still get to bench more and me have to post more LOL.

Once it's all sorted and up to date it will be easy to maintain anyway.

    Edit -
Thanks Rob. Are the different families i.e Haswell, IVY etc easy enough to work out.

Yep. Deneb, Thuban, Zambezi, Vishera. It'll show the architecture on the CPU-Z.

Awesome  I look forward to it as nobody seems to care about AMD SuperPi since it's so slow although I've been having a lot fun with it.

Next up for me will be something Vishera based and followed by something AM3

I should also add that my NB is reported as being set to 10x no matter what it is really running. I also loss a ram channel when using any NB multi but 10x and 11x when also using 1833 multi

I also have some more subs to put up later when I have the chance such as one without the Stilt's Bulldozer Conditioner so it can compare with the guys on Robbo's 4ghz thread on OCN and it's pretty epic I reckon

It would be awesome if he did as AMD is so neglected these days

    Edit: Some MaxMem vs Adia64

Ha! that guy has more talent in his pinky than I have in my whole body lol. I do enjoy AMD, just not SPI with it. It's just too slow.

Just a quick one guys. Do you want just BEST overall times in the OP or best times via CPU's i.e.Gazza has a PB @7M 21.953 and has just done the above on the pentium chip. Hope that makes sense.

Edit - BTW Gaz nice stuff mate. Now i need a 2nd SS for the X99 LOL.

Just best for each platform man, helps people compare to something when they are setting up for a new/old platform.

Yeah best overall times but also make a Pentium top group as well as the Pentium not as fast as 4770k-90 ,should have there own group seeing few subbing them

Can't compare a Pentium against 4770k-90 so own group be good:thumbup:

Have shaved a good chunk of time off my 5960X time. I've just being messing with the main timings and haven't touched the 3rds as of yet. Still about 5-6s of the big guys but I must admit i'm pretty happy with these cheapy Avexir sticks compared to what they are running.
