Looks like Chris Taylor (Total Annihilation) is about to release another game along similar lines (but MUUUUUCH grander scale). Looks extremely interesting, but the interface is going to be a nightmare I think.

What do you guys think of this so far?

Anything associated with TA will sell by the buckload. I just hope they keep it simple enough to be enjoyed my many, buy complex enough to allow for indepth strategies like the original.

Definately one to watch. I'm still playing the original. I'm happy Chris is TheMan, because now I don't have to make the sequel to my favorite RTS, I can just play it when it's done!

Anyone else notice how similar the units look to the original TA? Big  in my book.

Seriously, I can imagine they will screw this up. $10 says they'll make it over complicated.

His interfaces have always been good. Dungeon Siege managed to take the *clickclickclickclickclick* out of a hack 'n slash RPG. I am not worried about it at all.

The AI will be the most important thing I think.

Those giant spider things look cool :D
Im just glad we're finally getting a game which seems to have enforced realistic proportions between various units. Not tanks who are almost as large as battleships :wired:
