    #2 & #5 = Wall Prints. Epic.

The alps as the backdrop is unreal.

Was it live fire as in they were shooting off real rounds? The FA-18 (?) in #2 is just dropping flares right?

Yes. The hornet in 2 is pumping flares out, but the smoke from the hornet in 1 is coming from the 20mm cannon.

Wow..best backdrop ever with the Alps. Not your usual Blue sky/grey sky background. Very James bond/Euro

really like #6 but then again I really like them all

Probably. It is possible to get to the other side of the valley but its a lot longer and harder hike. The main viewing area is about a 5 hour return hike, 3 hrs up starting at 5am before dawn and 2 hrs down in the arvo. The other side is about 5 hrs up and 4 down, and a lot higher. Usually in snow. Mabey next time if I go with peopel that I am confident to hike that sort of terrain in.

Another shot of the far side:

Awesome, what did they shoot at? Would be cool if they shot of a few missiles and droped a few bombs ;)

Data in flickr indicates 20D + 100-400 IS.

Nice shots mate, the backdrop certainly adds something! The panning of #6 came out quite nice, though a little underexposed to my liking.

They're fanstatic. What a great airshow, I can only imagine standing on those hills/mountain tops and getting a jet fighter fly below you in the gorge then shooting up over you :)

Guessing you guys would have had to leave very early to get to those high points before the show...

#4 with the two T5's upright/inverted is just awesome, though they are all impressive shots. Nice work.

Edit: Now my wallpaper. Good stuff mate, keep it up

Yeah we started walking at 5am from the bottom of the village. Got to the top at about the same time as the sun at 745. Action started at about 9am for an hour, then again at 2 for 90mins with some movements inbetween
