Sydney on Sunday article featured on The Australian Coffee Guide https://www.facebook.com/australiancoffeeguide and https://www.facebook.com/Trepeza
Oh lord! Pork and potato hash with poached egg, topped with crackling. And grilled peach tostada with goats cherve @ Foley Lane, Darlinghurst. Review up next week.
Thought I'd throw this up as the review and offer are worthy of a look-in by OCAU members! Sydney on Sunday in collaboration with this week's reviewee, Foley Lane, has a special offer for readers: "Mention Sydney on Sunday when booking a table of 4 or more through brunch@foleylane.com.au and the first round of coffee is on us!" http://sydneyonsunday.com/2013/11/17/foley-lane-darlinghurst-rating-21-525/
hey mate, what is the most interesting cafe (in terms of decorations, food, atmosphere) you have been to? preferably inner west/east (for mothers day brekkie) lox, stock and barrel is fantastic too
Interesting/atmosphere: Substation fits the bill for sure. It's literally an old substation! Any good perks from doing this? I briefly contemplated the idea of doing this for craft beer venues, but realised what a time sink it would be and how much effort I'd actually have to put in visiting places when I am already incredibly time poor due to work/sport.
Absolutely incredible maple bacon and pumpkin tart @ Pinbone. Will be going back again this week for sure!
checked out pinbone and had the pumpkin and maple bacon tart - thanks for the recommendation - was amazing! the mrs had the croquet monsoir which was so damn rich and tasty the deserts there are fantastic too, we tried the choc chip cookie with baked cheese cake filling, and the black rice with custard tart both were fucking epic
Good to see you made it to Brewtown! One of my mor elocal cafe's uses their cronuts - they are sensational.I can't believe you guys didn't end up ordering another round! Keep up the good work, I'm seeing a lot of places I want to try that I didn't know existed... Z...
Your blog is a great resource regarding Sydney's plethora of breakfast choices. You'll have to hit Mad Spuds one day though, just next to FourAteFive and in my opinion, very underrated compared with it's more illustrious neighbour.
Is there any reason why sydney CBD is empty? I'm looking for an above average breakfast place to drop by before work, but I haven't found anything out of the ordinary
