Sydney-cheapest travel options, recommended accommodation

    Thanks, I've already booked accommodation, I've progressed to figuring out what else to do while I'm there.

    Barangaroo has a heap of new buildings, and the timber ones there also (unique compared to most concrete monstrosities). Plenty of great places to eat and drink there too, and right next to darling harbour so maritime museum also close by.

    Thanks. The Star Wars exhibition is at the Powerhouse museum, so I was going to wander about around there after that. I'll look up Barangaroo. There's an exhibition of wildlife photographs at the maritime museum which looks good.

    The Great Southern Hotel is reasonably priced currently as they are doing some reno', you dont really notice the noise when your in your room.

    The Metro Hotel in Thai Town(near China Town) is well priced usually and lots of food options around.
