i think the trick is to get tickets that have places in common which may give you the continuous train length bonus (or is that bonus only in the xbox version?)
extra 10 points for longest track. and yes, you want to get as many routes as you can going through as few cities as possible.
OK. if a track has two colours (eg. orange and black) and i claim the black track, can the orange track still be claimed or is that option gone because i claimed it first? EDIT: was the case with the online version but not on the xbox 360 version.
i was told that (over at the DOW T2R forums): if there's 2-3 people playing = cannot claim the 2nd track colour if there's 4-5 people playing = can claim the 2nd track colour anyone like to confirm that?
And there's also 15 points for the person(s) with the most destinations achieved. As othy said, correct. Also take note that one player may only claim one leg as to not have a monopoly and block others. And that brings up another topic... blocking...
Well, blocking happens as it's a part of the game but the point of contention is whether it's done to reach your destinations or it's done to stop your opponents. Realistically it's a valid strategy however it's not in the spirit of the game. It's like in soccer when you get the ball and you run into the corner to waste time. It's not against the rules but it's a pretty cowardly way of playing.
Claustrophobia Hey guys, does anyone know if Claustrophobia is selling for cheaper than $70 at Games Empire? Cheers.
So, i was in melbourne last week and bought Agricola and killer bunnies.. anyone in the eastern suburbs want to have a game of either some time during the week/end?
Gosh that game annoyed me no end. My in-laws were obsessed with that game for a while. They bought a lot of the expansions and I thought the whole thing was pointless because the outcome of the game was random and completely unrelated to who played the best. I won it once and throughout the whole game I was useless and did nothing.
