    Hey fellas,

So i decided to play around with some of the 7970 GPUs i used to bench with but found out i didn't have enough live ones to do 4WAY so mixed and matched 3 cards and pulled out some decent runs tonight, 3DMARK03 global WR decent that is :). This new Gigabyte Z87X-OC + Haswell platform is a cracker. Crazy fast compared to ivy bridge.

btw guys, TeamAU has a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/teamauoc
We tend to hang out there a fair bit these days. Lots of interesting stuff, OC guides, bios profiles, records, douche baggery, come and say hi

    thanks :D

4way setup ready to go. OC Brace that comes with the Z87X-OC is such a life saver when you try setup 4way watercooled or subzero. love it :D:D:D:D

Did some testing today again with GIGABYTE Z87X-OC, 4770K and 4WAY GIGABYTE 7970s

it was a test session with a few hardware configs and turned into a bit of full out bench, fun times :)

    Managed a new 3DMARK03 global WR :)

Just notice your top pic using the fast base Gemini pot,is that ok for haswell?or would the slow base Gemini be more suited to haswell?

i normally use fast base, best control

but i switched to my gold pot for this session. it has a LOT of mass and it was using less LN2 and had good control also.

I always find these extreme overclocks pretty laughable.

Show me real world usable overclocks where you aren't pouring in liquid nitrogen and I'd be more impressed. Also, 3D Mark 03? Why not the latest 2013 version?

Do you go to drag car forums and wonder why they have so much power? It's about the challenge of doing it. 3D Mark 03, SuperPi, Aquamark, they're all irrelevant for comparing modern hardware, but they've become standard benchmarks, just like a 1/4 mile.
