    Hi guys

I've been doing some pretesting on SS to try figure out efficiency and what i could roughly expect once i move to LN2. So far so good but there are a few more things i need to do....will post about it when i test it all

i also have a 4870X2 to pair up with these two cards to get some PBs in 03/05/06

    Test Configuration:

    • Gigabyte X58-UD5 F8x bios
    • Intel Core i7 chip
    • 3GB 2000MHz CAS9 DDR3 Kingston HyperX
    • 2x 512MB Asus Matrix 4870 Graphics Cards
    • 1000W HX1000 Corsair PSU
    • 1hp C-BuZz Single Stage (kayl evap)
    • 160GB IDE Hard Drive
    • Windows XP Pro 32bit SP3

these were category W.R.s but i got passed by a guy running with 3x4870s heh....i think with some tweaks i have in mind i should be able to equal 45.xK currently at howbot for 05....while for 06 i need a third card

i decided it was time to make it a bit more interesting
first stop will be single card points attack with 4870X2 on water

it's not the greatest OCer this card but here's hoping for 900MHz core stable on water

did some testing with single 4870X2 and dual 4870s
    46.3K 3DMARK05 so far at 5.13Ghz
not too bad but some issues with Ocing these and 3DMARK06 Proxy which is weird so i gotta work out the bugs first for multiple cards

    check out this carnage hahaha

had some trouble with LN2 and 3D stability
just couldnt do any significant increases in clocks

max SuperPi speed i could get for now is 5380Mhz which is OK but it just feels like the chip has more in it

i guess i will find out what Classified can do when i get that board

ignore the time...just frequency testing for now

btw booting into windows directly at this speed as well

i must have the world's worst 4870X2 card here

last night i had 10C ambients and on watercooling under load the cores were hitting only 20C and all other temps were super low

the card cannot bench more than 888/950 with volt bump even

    :(:(:(:(:(:(:(
