I dont do much photography these days and also now dont keep up to date with gear so I'm really lost in choosing a tele lens for my Sony A7III.

I currently have canon lenses with a MC-11 adapter and have been using 70-200 2.8 IS but have wanted something longer for some more abstract type landscapes.

Looking at Tamron 150-600 G2 or Sigma 150-600 S. Any thoughts on these 2? I would have to adapt them and unsure how theyll do

Also, anything else I should consider?

I'd check them first. I am pretty sure I have heard the Tamron does not work adapted. Not sure on the Sigma. Best choice as mentioned is the Sony 200-600.

if i was to adapt it would be mc11 + the sigma 150-600
the sport is a nice bit of glass but its heavy.

as above the 200-600 would be the way to go if you have the $$'s

G2 is sharper at 600 than the Sigma iirc.

but the best solution is the Sony 100-400 it’s 1.4x tc or the Sony 200-600
