+1 for Stocard. Even has Android Wear support.
Thanks for the heads up!
Didnt realise something like this existed. Its great!
Yes, this should work. I guess I didn't wait long enough? I think I'll still message the devs and ask them if they can put it in a more obvious place though.
This app has helped to improve my posture.
I no longer lean to the left when sitting on my wallet full of cards
Been using this for the last few days, excellent product. I especially like how it would give you a notification if I was in the actual store!
So far, haven't had any complications and all the cards I've scanned have worked. Even the cash register guy at Coles the other day was asking about it
Stocard looks great - just got it and added my cards.
Though with MyerOne, when i retrieve my points total, it says I only have 1. All correct numbers too.
When i login to the myer site, i've got more.
edit: Also, tried my Flybuys card on a self service checkout at coles...didnt read..hmmm
You've got to use the extra card reader which is mounted off to the right up top near the monitor (hidden behind the "Get flybuys card here" signage), not the item scanner.
ah so there's an extra card reader on self service checkouts? I didnt know that.
Will check it out next time im there.
I'm assuming its the same extra card reader they use at the normal attended checkouts?
What's a decent mail app to connect to Outlook.com? No ads or stupid permissions. Don't need a calendar or contacts. Just the email. The official one is shit, not giving me notifications and the stupid focused conversations.
I prefer to keep my mail accounts separate with different apps.
I'm using gmail for gmail.
You can turn off the focus conversations in Outlook.
Not sure on the notifications issue. I have iCloud checked through it and I get them at the same time as my iPad.
CloudMagic is the best email app I've found for Android
How do i block FB used through chrome from directing me to FB messenger app on play store anytime i look at my messages?
A little torn on pricing in comic apps.
I've downloaded by "Comics" and "DC Comics" apps, both suggested to be published by Comixology.
I've paired up my Comixology account with my Amazon account.
"Comics" advertises the World Of Warcraft comics as 99c to $1.99 per individual issue, whereas "DC Comics" is $1.29 to $2.49.
Which price do I go off?
If I was to automatically assume the former is US, and the latter is AU, then the latter is cheaper by current exchange rate, according to XE (as of 6:20pm today, 1 USD = 1.35814 AUD 1 AUD = 0.736300 USD).
what's everyone using as an alternative to Samsung Kies (on PC)?
What do you need kies for?
nothing, why in gods name would you want to plug in your phone to anything other than a charger.
To drag and drop files? THough, no idea why you'd need Kies for this...
Wifi ftp remote manager
ok, let me rephrase:
my contact (list) is a clusterfuck mess.. I want to clean it up & am presuming that would be done quicker via PC..so..which app?
sync contacts to Google, cleanup on the web?
