If you keep coming back to PowerAMP, it must already be better than the competition? So what features do they really need to add?

And same goes with Android Auto? I've only spent a few minutes with it, but it seemed to tick all the boxes for what I'd see as necessary in an app like that.

Maybe it's not that app developers are becoming lazy, just that they're closer to the mark upon release because the market is so saturated with alternatives that it has to be right from the start. Or in the case of PowerAMP, it's been out for so long that they've nailed what they want?

    Just a thought!

Anyway, sure it's been mentioned already, but I'm loving Stocard - can finally get rid of all those extra members' cards I've been carrying around! Only issue is that it doesn't seem to scan properly at Woolworths!

Ditto. I think it's the scanners Woolies use not playing nice with phone screens. Coles have dedicated readers for the cards.

v3 is in testing and you can download. Been a while since a new test version but might be worth a try. Supports HighRes audio via internal or external DAC, visualisations, etc. http://forum.powerampapp.com/index.php?/forum/18-poweramp-v3-testing/

    Started using GoneMAD Music Player

Supports ID3 Rating Tags which PowerAMP has never had, and will probably never have.
Android Auto support is also coming. Lots of features to play with.

Tasker integration is broken due to a recent Tasker update, I can live with that for now.

Those with a Samsung, check out the Samsung app store. There's all these free "exclusive game offers"

I have found myself with oodles of google credit and no idea what to spend it on. I know I can use it obviously in the play store, but I've noticed some apps let you buy DLC through the google play store also.

If you had oodles of credit, what would you install and buy? E.g. I tried bandcamp as I like the service, but you have to buy via paypal unfortunately.

I'll probably go with a google music subscription, but I have like >200 bucks so I'm open to ideas :) I like the VSCO app so I'll use some there for sure.

I guess alternatively, what's the best apps to turn google play credit into tangible items (if possible of course, not expecting it to be)

I switched from ES to Solid Explorer a while back. Much much more pleasant experience.

Not free, but has 14 day trial.

I've got a few games that I've invested a LOT of time into, and i want to back up the data (there's an option to save progress IF you add them on social media or something)... but is there anyway to back up game data??

Does anyone know if you get any notification that your Google reward money is going to expire?

Not that I've seen. I'm lead to believe that the expiration date is one year from when you last complete a survey. Regardless of how much you have in your wallet already, and when they were accumulated.

    e.g.
    $1 earned on 01/01/17 - expiration date: 01/01/18
$1 earned on 01/02/17 - new expiration date: 01/02/18 when $2 will expire.
    You won't lose $1 on 01/01/18.

Google's account settings changed some time in the past. You used to be able to see the tally of your earnings, but I can't find it now. At least on desktop. I haven't tried looking through my phone app.
