I use JogTracker. It is awesome.
installed it last night and uninstalled after an hour. annoying keyboard design, and the buttons are even smaller. and whats with the putting a full stop after a word when you push space??? odd.
thats because the space is automatic, you don't need to actually type it in.
I'm quite liking swype, I just miss the dedicated emoticon button
So how can I make better choices in what apps I use? Or is there somewhere that reviews the security of apps or something? Using the 'everyone else is using app X too.' isnt good enough as the article shows.
Edit, might be using scare tactics...
... but might actually work??
check this app Tasker out. turns your phone into a superphone!
Gonna have to try this one out. Could be a bit to set up though, do it when I find the time...
Looks like a much better version of Settings Profiles and Locale. Better as in more features and better as in better designed / presented. I own Settings Profiles but skipped Locale after it left beta.. they are ~ $5 and $10 respectively.. and Tasker would be approx $5 also. I'll have a play this week.
I assume it has a backup to sd function so once you do set it up it's not a big deal.
to those who are going to purchase it, let me know how it runs
I trial of Tasker for those interested!
Just added an app called AutoTeeth. It auto turns on Bluetooth when it detects the Wifi disconnected from an AP. When I was looking, I was actually wanting something to schedule my Bluetooth switch on for drivng to work and home.
So far I think it works pretty well. When I got to work this morning, I saw the wifi connect and the bluetooth turn off. It's great cause it means I don't have to turn BT on to connect to my car kit, it will happen automatically.
is there an app like iMovie for the android?
Possibly, although why you'd try editing video on a phone...
But Steve said.
i don't care...
And for those with MMS issues, either double check your APN settings (mine are fine with 3, pm me if you want to check)
Or try downloading a different messaging app that supports image downsizing! As my issue with MMS sending was the image was too big, and 3 impose a maximum MMS size.
Which handset are we talking about here? Or is this a general Android problem?
My Desire scales images easily for sending via message, and quick too

Tricorder - for Star Trek geeks out there
MotoTorch LED - Works when you have LED flash.
Barrage Lite - Nice easy game
CovertPad - covert measurements you thought wasn't necessary.
Pkt Auction eBay - better than the original ebay android app.
