Haven't played a sonic game properly for years its good Sega took care in there ports I'm sure its a resource thing at the moment to get them off the stores and stop new people purchasing them and leaving bad feedback/ratings for the time being till they can sort them out hence my note at the top. Tried sonic rivals on my psp and I dunno if there difficulty increased but I couldn't even pass act 1-1 until 20 goes later will need to try sonic 4 I need to find out what the best platform is with the old style controls to play that on. I kinda went off the forced cheesy story storylines in them looking at the more recent ones, and never played any of the 3D adventure games but I heard they were good.
I looked out of interest on the play store Google have a pay once and no more section now for games, which are games with a once of purchase no in-app micro transactions etc. I'll add ia link to it in the first post later today. Keep game info coming and pm me and stuff if you have stuff for the first post. Those that play mobas and Android MMOs etc what is available and good etc. I'm super many of you are playing games so please share and liven the thread up

Don't know how good those games were but gave them a miss as some were free with heavy microtransactions etc on the store. I updated the first post with an super important one I was looking for a while back for you all, Pay Once Play forever. Google's own official list of games with a upfront cost without microtransactions. The list is pretty small as expected and is a shame. These games have a outright cost with no, yes you read that right, no microtransactions at all in them.
"Hitman: Sniper For Android $0.20 (Was $4.99) @ Google Play" https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/212217
Humble is a good one to keep an eye on, just a shame you have to download APK's to get them. Be nice if they had a way to get them through the store. I grabbed the SNK bundle, heaps of fun to be had.
FINALLY finished a game of survive! Fun game yet sometimes very challenging (and frustrating!). My most played and loved android game is Easy St Free.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/314426 Sega Forever is the new promotion offered by Sega. They will be adding new retro games each month from platforms such as the Master System, Mega Drive, Dreamcast, and more.
I see more and more proper games coming out for android including ones with controller support. But not many here are talking about them or the hardware to run them in this thread. Wonder if the thread is in the wrong area and should be in general games. Any ideas how to spark some life here?
Its been a while with not much activity here. Nox Player is a FREE android emulator similar to bluestacks which is promote for gaming. I am running it just for apps rather than games, with modification change of launcher etc it can be very clean. They promote the Lineage 2 MMO on Android, I may try this on my Mi Box sometime. People on Reddit are using it to farm Final Fantasy coins etc. With more proper games coming out lets discuss stuff. Hopefully I can find something to play on my Mi Box with a controller.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gm_shaber.dayr&hl=en_AU Day R Survival - Apocalypse, Lone Survivor RPG I'm addicted to this game, been playing it for weeks and even considering buying full game one day it's that good! Best android game I've played in years! Watch some YouTube tutorials to get full benefit of how to play this awesome survival RPG! Here's a basic guide as they can be hard to find beginners guides sometimes on YouTube: (sorry he does have annoying young voice! haha)
Just bought Bards Tale. Never played it on the PC so looking forward to a few giggles. Currently on sale for around $2.50 I think it was.
I have it from a old humble it's the remaster I believe. I need to pull it out again and find a android device to install it on.
mobile games to me are so disappointing for the most part. there are a few i've gotten over the years and they seem to just disappear over time and you can't get them anymore even if you've purchased because developers shit them out and then stop supporting them for newer devices and OS version. Unless of course they are massive money spinners like bejeweled candy crush. I am hoping that the console space doesn't ape mobile in future because that will be a dire future indeed. The only games that you can play two years after purchase are the virtual slot machines. That said I recently installed Fallout Shelter (yes I know it's 3 years old) and am finding this to be a pretty great game and I don't feel pressured to spend any real money i always have something to do unlike games of this type i've tried in the past like Simpsons. Can only assume this game still makes $$$ for Beth as they even put it on Switch although damn it is not a great handheld experience on a phone or switch portable - much much better on a tablet. I bought Bard's Tale when it came out, didn't catch me.
