Well a 3G iphone and a local release are more than just speculation, what with Vodafone and Telstra already committing. So that is a no brainer.

New Macbooks would be nice, but since there was a revision in March, I dont see it happenning. Focus will be put on OSX I think.

well its WWDC. Developers, so im thinking new iPhone/SDK and announcement of 10.6 or whatever. Something will be done with their OS. I remember reading somewhere that 10.6 was going to be stability and security enhancements. After 10.5 and the unix certified, i think they really want to polish it up.

I also read somewhere that they were trying to cut Carbon, and sticking purely to cocoa. But i don't think any major hardware revisions will be released. I could be wrong. The MBP needs a revision, the style has been the same for years.

the monteniva platform is due soon. they might early annouce the adoption, or wait until later, i am unsure at this point.

3g iphone, and they will be available in australia on the 10th

early annoucement of 10.6 and seed to developers to start programing for it, and ironing out bugs. rumours state it's a leopard fix, no a feature rich update.

i am hoping for a multitouch touch input for mac pros and imacs.

hmm will think of more later

3G iPhone doesn't seem to be a big secret & will definitely steal the show.
Doubt we'll see too many hardware revisions.

Same here. I think I'd prefer the Diamond, but rumour has it the iPhone may be well subsidised with some carriers. I'm just going to wait and see. My current phone will just have to limp along as best it can, for now :upset:

They already have DVI which is a digital source (just like HDMI, in fact, i think its the same signal, or extremely similar). DVI is more of a computer related connection that HDMI. Its like VGA compared to component. Pretty much the same signal, just a few differences, like vsynch and so on, and the medium for which it is transfered.

Oh, and HDMI has sound where as VGA doesn't.

I don't see it ever happening.

Praying for the iPhone 3G model - I know there are a thousand rumours out there and it seems almost a sure thing but you never know.

I'm wondering if there is going to be a Mac mini update or whether they are going to get rid of it.

As for the macbook updates, I doubt it. Also I hope they don't as I might have to upgrade mine.

i think the 3g iphone is a given.

just hoping that they have a 13" MBP in the pipeline before the end of the year... they need to replace the 12" powerbook dammit!!! otherwise hopefully with the macbook pro revision they will change to the montevina chipset, and hopefully throw in an 8800gs/9600gso in there and get rid of the 8600.

I am hoping for a Mac mini update. It has been a long time since they have updated it, and in that time the Macbook and MBP have both has cpu/graphics updates.

The mini would be perfect for a HTPC if it had slightly faster graphics, blueray support and more memory in the stock setup instead of the over inflated $150 for 2GB.

3G iPhone - GPS, Thinner, Sexier, Faster.

Maybe some more moving forward on the Mac OS X front too and hopefully some interesting hardware updates.

3am WWDC starts, 4am keynote starts, if my conversion is correct.

And as for the topic.... 32gb 3g/gps iPhone.
The for the AU market, bidding war between 3/Telstra/Optus/Vodafone for customers, with unlimited data plans and a few hundred in calls for under $50 a month. :D *dreaming.....*
