Problem is do they replace the button, or is it with a refurbished phone?

Refurbished. So second hand phone in reality but with whatever problem that it had fixed, and a new case and battery.

Someone please correct me if I cam wrong but Jail broken phones are not covered by warrenty. Most people revert back to the apple firmware when they take it in to get fixed.

I think they don't really care. But it is safer to assume so.
Plus I feel safer if I wipe the phone first

They will actually refuse to do anything with it jailbroken, they will ask you to bring it back in it's original state before they will touch it, that's what they told me anyway.

Sounds about right, it's pretty fair to be honest as you're using the phone outside of spec in a way.
I know the replacement will have 4.2 though which is putting me off :thumbdn:

FYI for anyone in Brisbane wanting one of these, I wandered up and down the Queen St Mall with my GF on Sunday to all the Telstra shops, only to be told nobody had any in stock until later in the week, in either 16 or 32gb models. Apparently they go within 2 days of receiving stock (which is on a Thursday) - and even then, they only seem to ever receive half of what they request from Apple.

However, if one was to walk a little further down the mall, over to Macarthur Central and in to the JB Hifi store - one will find many an iPhone 4, in both 16 and 32GB. JB are telstra dealers, and can hook you up with post paid plans just like a Telstra shop.

I just bought pocket informer and for the life of me can't get it to sync tasks.. I have a gmail account and want it to sync my calendar with pocket informant, gmail and outlook..

I can sync calendars fine, but tasks is proving impossible... i've tried toodledo but i want to share my tasks list but you have to buy a pro account for that to happen..

    Any ideas?

I'm really considering moving to the iPhone 4 16GB on Telstra's $49 Cap. It should be a nice upgrade from a Nokia E71 on 3, lol.

I just need to convince myself.

Thanks I will check it out.

I worked out what I was trying to do too-

    Export from Gmail
    Import to Outlook
iTunes sync the contacts from Outlook to iPhone
Uncheck the contact sync box in iTunes but choose to leave contacts on phone.
