You can generally control the App volume by going into the iPod app and turn the volume slider down in that. If you're in an app with sound it should give you a different volume control but some apps are crap and don't hook it up that way :|

Get one from JB Hifi on a Telstra plan, some JB stores don't have waiting lists and will sell you a handset if they have stock. Here in Melbourne they restock Wed/Thur, so call them before you leave and make sure they check actual stock because sometimes they assume they have no stock when in fact they do.

Champion, local store has a waiting list but said I'll be in the shipment this week :)

Only problem, on the $49 cap (16gb) it's $18 a month for the phone, going direct to Telstra though it's $199 upfront on the $49 cap which I'd much prefer. Can JB match that? Can they also port over numbers etc... (So are they the basically same as a TLIFE store?)

My mum walked into a Virgin store today and walked away with a Iphone 4 with no hassle, while I have been waiting for weeks like an idiot for Optus to get their butts into gear.

Thinking of cancelling with Optus and going with virgin.

Really disappointed with the situation with Optus especially the lack of updates.

Anyone found any decent themes for the iPhone 4 yet? I've gone through a few but none of them really look that good on the iPhone 4 (esp icons being pixelated).

My iphone4 was replaced by apple today, seems the battery was totality fucked.
The battery sparked all over the place when he removed it.

Funny thing to note, the serial for the device is on the inside of the case.

The Proximity Sensor is annoying me ATM, the screen will turn on during calls and press buttons walf way through, sometimes just numbers, other times it mutes the Mic  and a couple of calls ago the screen didn't turn back on once it finished :tired:

Not really iphone 4 related but where can I get a new glass screen for my 3GS in sydney? From the looks of things the parts are $20 so anything from around $60 would be good.

After about 60 drops the glass finally cracked
