Following on from the original thread, i thought it was time for a new bird thread :)

This is Cookie. He's a 1 year old Sun Conure. He's also a noisy little fucker, but very affectionate.

He sits in my shirt, pokes his head out of my collar and goes places with me, like the shops. Freaks the shit out of some people.

This is Pickles the Scaly Breasted Lorikeet

    She's a big bitch but I love her :)

Video of my boyfriend playing with her. She was going crazy excited that she had made a fort out of the boxes. You can hear her 'growling', making a fart noise on cue and imitating my laugh towards the end. she's crazy.

EDIT: Cookie is the biggest cutie ever!! Love sun conures

not for a sun conure, think that's only for natives and some of the more exotic birds

    These are our parrots:

    http://i31.tinypic.com/9fpa52.jpg
    http://i27.tinypic.com/ay9h6s.jpg

The red one is a Red Sided Eclectus hen (her name is Flint)
The yellow one is a Sun Conure hen (her name is Millie)

For those wondering, you don't need a license to keep a Sun Conure, however you do need a wildlife license for a Red Sided Eclectus as they are Australian native parrots.

PS: I didn't include the pictures in the forum text as they were wayyy too big, sorry, not sure how to size them better.

this was "pete" the parrot(ringneck) his favourite saying were "show us your boobs", "enemy boat spotted" and "enemy infantry spotted" (used to keep him in the computer room) unfortunately he got to smart for his own good and escaped his cage and got eaten by my dog :upset:

Not at all mate, they play really nice together. Every now and then they have a little barney and start attacking each other, but it's more playing I think. They love to preen each other a lot too.

In saying the above, we never leave them unsupervised together, and they live in separate cages.

Hey mate, awesome birds aren't they!? My one screams a lot as well. Not at night time thankfully.

I'm guessing your Sun Conure would be a new addition to your family? There's a lot of green on his wings still.

First a local King Parrot, these guys are awesome, don't come by too often and aren't happy to eat unless you're around.

This is Alex, before he grew his black ring. Alexandrine. My bloody mother picked that name and it stuck, fucking annoyed. Actually illegal to bring these into the country now, we have to rely on the current stock and then that's it.

And the lorrikeets that come around when it rains during summer and spring.

It was always illegal to bring in ANY exotic animal/bird.
