Is there, or should there be, any notable difference relating to MS Teams and Planner, between E3 and busprem plans?

Customer has one user on E3 with the rest on BP and teams/planner/groups is different and/or not working properly/thesame for the E3 user

I would have expected E3 just gets them the additional enterprisey stuff and Sharepoint Plan2 instead of Plan1.. shouldn't change look/feel/operation, correct?

Where can I get Epson receipt printer drivers without having to deal with all the APD bullshit?

    Anyone, Anyone, Bueller?

have you looked at using the drivers from seagull?
i believe you already use their bartender software.

we use their c.itoh drivers to run our citizen label printers.

No support for the TM-T88 printers it would seem.

    https://www.seagullscientific.com/drivers/epson-windows-printer-drivers/

We use the Seagull drivers for our label printers as well, however its the receipt printers I'm fighting with atm.

This might be more to do with the "first release" setting in the tenant https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...fice-365-3b3adfa4-1777-4ff0-b606-fb8732101f47

Question for those using Veeam in conjunction with a vcenter setup:

If I vmotion a host from one hypervisor to another (all within the same 'vcenter' though), does Veeam know about it and retain the backup jobs etc I've already created?

yeah. Veeam just sees the VM itself - vCenter simply tells it where it is.

It would appear not in any official channels.

Sad thing is, Epson hardware is miles in front of the others... It's a shame the push the APD on people.

Looks like I'll be installing APD elsewhere and digging drivers out.

Secure from what, and for what purpose, to what degree?

It may not be as secure as on premise, or it may be much more secure.

Here is a starting point for those that like 'compliance': https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/resources/

Personally I'd just prefer to see thermal receipt printers banned. WTF good is a receipt that fades to nothingness if you accidentally leave it sitting on the front seat of your car for an hour in the sun, or fold it into your wallet and forget about it for a week or two. :thumbdn:

Agreed, the old dot matrix printers were slower (the cheaper designs, full "line" dot matrix printers were as fast as thermals) and you had the change the ribbon - BUT apart from lasting longer i'm sure the paper was better for the environment (recyclable) ... the future promises more shops sending receipts via email but that's an overly complex solution to a stupid problem, meh...

Shop staff have enough trouble changing the paper rolls, I can't imagine how much they would butcher toner changes.

It'd be amusing though, if you let yourself laugh :p

I gave a group of people a small brother A4 B&W laser printer for some specific task. I got asked for help with a toner change one day, seems they ordered the new one in but couldn't get it to fit, no big deal. I get over to the printer and find they'd thrown out not only the old toner cartridge but the drum unit as well. Told them they were on their own after that.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any Penetration testers, particularly those with any kind of specialty/knowledge in the medical field area.

I/We are basically looking for an external pen test and assessment first up, i know for a fact we will fail, but the point is for a 3rd party who is a specialist to try to come in from the outside and show us where/how we need to patch up.

Any recommendations for free or cheap wi-fi monitoring software?

Situation is I have some equipment connecting via 5ghz wifi that is dropping out for brief periods, but enough to disrupt what it's being used for. I'm wondering if there is other interface in the room, that could be causing the issue.

What is the most painless way to get a bunch of Win7 / Win10 machines to start looking to a newly deployed WSUS server for their updates?

Machines are all domain-joined and in AD, and up until now have just been sucking down updates independently because....reasons :Paranoid::confused:
