    My first Gameboy (original) we found down the back of a seat in a 2nd hand car we had bought.

    Gameboy > Game Boy Pocket > Gameboy light > Gameboy color > GBA > DS > DS Lite > 3DS

    My best memories are with the original model + Tetris, Mario, Donkey Kong, James Bond, Star Wars (still can't get this cantina music out of my head) and Zelda

    Once I had a Pocket + GBC, it was Pokemon Red 24/7. Anyone remember that glitch pokemon, Missingno?

    I had the Pokemon edition Gameboy Colour. Paired with Pokemon Yellow, that pretty much defined my childhood. :D

    I've since moved onto a GBA SP and an original DS. I don't really see any reason to get the 3DS, though. At least not yet. The majority of Nintendo games in general have turned into rubbish, so the 3DS will need a good back catalogue before I'm interested. The same goes for the PSVita.

    And I also refer to my DS as my gameboy and will refer to my PSVita (if I ever get one) as a PSP.

    My most memorable game boy games were Tetris, Battletoads and Pokemon...

    My bro and I both got copies, I had red and he had blue geez I loved that game and would play for hours, I think I was only 3 short of having obtained every Pokemon in game and was THRILLED when the Pokemon "event" came to my local Harvey Norman as everyone who went to the machine got Mew uploaded into their cart :D

    I only started at the Colour (but I managed to use my cousin's old brick when I visited)

    I went from Colour->DS->3DS->Gameboy

    I managed to find an old one for $5 recently :)

    The next step is to find a virtual boy...

    I never owned one but my bro owned quite a few....so they were always around. Didn't mind some of the game either.

    Only one I’ve ever had was the original. Think I only had two games for it (Tetris and Pipe Dream) but man did I play the crap out of them! :D

    Been tempted to get a DSI or 3DS for homebrew, but... meh.

    The first Gameboy I ever owned myself was a Colour. But I remember seeing a Gameboy Pocket around my house when I was way younger.

    I had the original grey gameboy with nigel mansell F1 racing and Tetris, I then moved to the GB color with the Camera game thing, then the GB advanced with some supermario game.
