You know I'm a huge emulator fan, so I hope you understand this comes from a place of love, not anger. But please, can we refrain from posting CEMU stuff here? Emulation *should* be about preservation. CEMU users on the whole aren't the sorts of folks who are buying legitimate copies of BotW and paying their license fees. Day-zero emulation of games is arguably not about the good hearted intention of preservation and ensuring hard working developers get their legitimate financial reward for their work. I don't want to start a war over it. I've mentioned this elsewhere and made folks really angry, and I know it's a difficult distinction to make for some of us who spend a hell of a lot of cash on gaming and do the right thing where and when we can. But this needs to be looked at on a case by case example. While we're all off buying copies of games off GoG to do our retro play throughs, BotW is pirated days after release, and that's not cool. If you're interested in the technical aspect of this, there's a quarter of a million videos on YouTube according to my search just now. But this isn't a twitchy FPS, or a serious online competitive game, nor an arcade bullet-hell shmup or fighting game. Sure, 4K BotW is pretty, but the quality of what's on offer both on Switch and WiiU is amazing. I hope folks appreciate where I'm coming from on this. When it becomes difficult/impossible to buy an old game (and by "buy", I mean get your money directly to IP holding developers/publishers), then emulation is there to save us. But this isn't that use case, and I hope we can avoid this turning into a "4K 144FPS PC master race!", or a "Nintendo are evil for making Nintendo games and should release on everything regardless of their financial loss" style discussion.
