oooh is Oles like another Ogalo/Oporto clone?
Get THOMY mayo, trust me :>~
Are you sure it's mayonnaise, and not salad cream or miracle whip or some other permutation?
Do it with egg yolks only (not whole egg), dijon mustard, good oil and wine vinegar. If you don't like that, there's something wrong with you
salad cream - never tried it, but google is telling me it's vinegary and a little more liquid than normal mayonnaise, so probably not it.
miracle whip - feel like I've tried this before - probably not the one though, apparently vinegary/tangy. May buy a jar out of sheer morbid curiosity if I see one.
Thomy is alright, just not what I'm looking for
Shame costco is such a pain to get to, otherwise I'd be signing up and purchasing each and every mayo they have..
Are you sure it's in the mayo, and not otherwise on the burger, like the chicken salt or other flavoured salt? Whack a bit of celery salt in it and see if that helps.
I've got a friend who owns a chicken shop. I'll ask him
Nandos uses Miracle Whip. Well they did when I worked there a few years ago
Do I deliver or do I deliver?
From an authentic 'chicken shop', this is what my friend uses:
Another vote for S&W.
That label looks promising!
Now to source some.. thanks so much for going to the trouble of asking
Yes it is. Burgers are better then all of them, not many shops though only a few.
Let us know of you find some please.
It's like some kind of crack mayo conspiracy, 2 food service companies turn up in google, but it looks like they only supply to industry.
I can't even find a US manufacturer website for this mayo!
Want me to ask my friend where/how?
Holy shitballs - glad this has been revived. Still on the hunt for the perfect chicken burger mayo. Oppressa, any info your friend has would be awesome
If possible, definitely man!
I'm thinking it may be either of these places, and I don't think they will sell to the general public though..
In the mean time might find some miracle whip, but I bet it just tastes just as bad as the horrible kraft food service stuff.
many years ago I went to a friends house and he showed me this mayo in his pantry that was identical to McChicken burger mayo. It was a supermarket variety, but it was easily over a decade ago. :/
I cant recall the brand or type, but recall it was not ordinary mayo, ive tried whole egg and it wasnt the type. kewpie comes closest to it but is slightly too vinegary.
anyone know of any closer to McChicken mayo than the kewpie brand?
May have to try out this place since they claim to use this fabled mayo, I live north burbs so it isn't too much of a treck..
I have a feeling the place used to be an Ogalo franchise too, if the same people are still running it it could be the stuff!
My god, this stuff isn't even on Google!! All my searches goes to Borden's instead of Bordden's. And even then there's no picture that matches.
Time for a group buy. Anyone got a food shop with an ABN?
