    Hey Guys,

First off, this wasn't my idea, i got the idea off another website and thought it was a good mod to have a crack at. The mod i saw was this:

Now, i had a spare HP DV9000 lying around my home so i thought id track down a microwave to put it in . I asked on facebook and got a very quick response from my Girlfriends dad, so i found my new case!

The Microwave was big, old and white, and looked good!

Next, i took apart my old laptop, taking the screen & cables out, and making sure i had a place that i could easily put USB & Ethernet cables into the laptop, so i decided to put it underneath the tray, note the awesome tape job there.

I then decided that it would probably get a bit hot in the tray of a microwave, so i put some awesome fans inside the microwave, i even put a red LED 120MM Fan on the back just for giggles. Great cable management too :weirdo:

Then i look of the plastic cover for the Microwave door and used some mighty strong double sided tape to hold the screen to the Plastic (Perfect fit too!) I used a drill piece to make a hole for where the screen cables need to connect to the motherboard. Also drilled a hole for the USB & Ethernet to travel through.

I put it all back together and pressed the power button

We have power! I hear the sound echo through the Microwave and see first desktop, which looks very good behind that plastic.

Time to change the background and treat myself to some Pizza and 5 seeds :)

    Very cool.

Now if there was a way to do it so the door could be opened and something put in then the PC could take a pic when the door is closed and display that then the person could enter the time and cook power, press start and it would show a graphic of the meal being cooked and then bluescreen on them with the text saying something about the microwave not liking their choice of food or to choose more healthy food, that would be a killer prank.

Of course you would have to add a webcam that could record the persons reaction too.
