Well I have been using Firebird 0.7 for about 3 hours now and it’s simply outstanding.
    • It Loads up faster.
    • Browsing in Firebird 0.7 is a lot faster than 0.6 for me.
    • It’s more responsive than 0.6.
    • Mouse scrolling works perfectly now. (I had a few problems with mouse scrolling in 0.6)
    • AutoDownload & Web Panels are welcomed new features.
    • Cookie Management has been improved a lot.
    • I had problems with Flash in 0.6 but in 0.7 it works perfectly.
    • Improved JavaScript support.
    • Improved Java Support.

I'm sure I have missed out a lot of other improvements. :)

    Here is a tip…

Go to this URL about:config in your Firebird browser and go down the list and select browser.turbo.enabled and set it to true.

I have seen a improvement of speed by enabling this but if this slows down browsing for you then just set it back to false.

    :)

I upgraded both firebird and thunderbird.

Both seem much faster. The coolest feature of firebird is the middle click mouse scroll, for those without scroll wheels (me :) )

I might upgrade.. but I am using the 2003-10-14 build (yesterdays* build). :D

    * The US is behind us remember, I know today is the 16th here.

EDIT: It appears the 0.7 Final comes from the 1.5 branch. I have 0.7+ that's from the 1.6a branch. Won't be downgrading.

Mozilla Firebird 0.7 is heaps better imo, most things seem to be working heaps smoother then the last version that was released

the only problem that's still causing a few problems is doing things in the bookmarks tab other then that it's heaps better.

Great broser. Set "middlemouse.scrollbarPosition" and "general.smoothscroll" to true. If you want IE style scroll. :)

It allows WebPages you have in your bookmarks to open in a sidebar panel.

It’s simple to use, Open the Properties window for any bookmark, and choose "Load this bookmark in the sidebar."

    :)

    hmmm....
I do that. and it just opens the bookmark in a new tab....

Maybe tabbrowser extensions are messing with it?

    *edit*. Yes, it was. :)
