You know, the aliexpress ones are knock offs... oh well. I think after the ones I bought I won't get any more from aliexpress. Lesson learned!

Putting the personal choice related to that aside, the only time that matters is if you are talking to a collector. If you just dig them as ornaments then fill your boots provided the aforementioned personal choice aligns with that. If you are collecting then licensed/certificate of authenticity/etc. is important. There are cases where no licensed merchandise has ever been produced and certain items gain value but I don't know of any specifically mself.

Exactly as chook said. Authenticity is only really an issue if you're a stickler for that. Personally the cost of collecting is so high I'd buy anything as long as it's not extremely badly made. The problem I do have with knock off is that they're not as well made as the original. They're often just a re-cast from the original. So what you get is possibly different material, softer points (like rounded points instead of sharp points), inferior paint job, wrong colour etc. This is why the original cost more and there's justifications for it. However if I'm looking to make a custom build, I would not hesitate to buy a knock off. :D

If all you are after is something that looks good and you enjoy then go hard at the cheapest ones that you like and are of a quality that you are happy with.

If Pops! are your thing there are CP2077 ones coming out around September.
