Has anyone successfully taken out the Mather family on Monarch? Here I and my companions are, fully loaded up with body armour and packing more heat than a small army and were getting our asses handed to us by a crazed family wearing nothing more than work clothes and weilding melee weapons and handguns! WTF!! We're pouring round after round into them and they are barely taking a hit although one time I did manage to kill ONE and then the father set upon me and hacked me to death with his sword. I know I can talk my way out of it as I have the speech skill for it but god damn it's personal now! I want to waste these bitches! This is on the hard level btw.
Just finished it, it was a great game, first game I sat down and played for a while since I "went off" gaming. Even looked forward to making an excuse to play it! I must say they did good on this game.
use the radiation grenade launcher power up weapon as it does splash dmg , it shreds enemy packs real quick.
they were side missions so i am not fussed really. also, i got to stellar bay and i got trapped in a house full of creeps and i wanted out so i had to kill everyone in the house to get the key to get out. Thanks for playing on my social anxiety, game! LUL
Respec into Heavy Guns, get Heavy Machine Gun or Light Machine Gun 2 then add the capacity magazine mod and the plasma damage barrel mod.
I ran through and area that I was probably too low level for only to get to the end and find some high level armour/weapons that allowed me to double back and wreck everything. Oh that and finally started making use of the time dilation thingy Good times.
I didn't use the time dilation thing once. Sneak + fully upgraded sniper rifle with plasma modifier / silencer + critical headshot. Or heavy weapons for you / your companions and unload everything.
Thanks for the input guys. Managed to get through it by running back up into one of the rooms (which basically created a choke point) and then laid into them as they scrambled to get at me with my Heavy Machine Gun. It was one of those instances where you come across a hard part which frustrates the hell out of you because you keep dying, then you go away and come back to it and get through it in a couple of tries and wonder what the fuss was all about! Still stunned me though how much damage melee weapons can do even though your loaded up with heavy armour + mods.
Annoyed you can't do a good guy finish on Foundation. And also not getting revered for aunty cleo is triggering my ocd.
New AMD 19.11.1 driver out aimed at RDR2 release, but specific mention of fixing the black models in inventory bug:
Whats the hud like on PC? PS4 is pretty terrible, its so bright and takes up a fare chunk of the left screen. Wish I could turn off individual elements.
Unlike anything out therre, online community aspect is fantastic but I'm catching pokemon at the moment so I wont be back to it for at least a week or so
