This has whet my appetite for more games like this. What else is there for the patient/low spec gamer?
Two new releases that spring to mind are: Greedfall and Disco Elysium Im not sure of the specs for either - but they both very narrative rich
SALE ALERT: until Feb 20 - The Outer Worlds is 50% off on the Epic store - and yes, you can double dip and use that $10 xmas gift voucher on top of that price, if you still have it.
Pay $1 for 3 months of gamepass and play it there .. I promise you'll be bored of it before 3 months is up
Obsidian are releasing more story DLC for outerworld....might be worth it with 50% off and $10 coupon.
The first of two planned DLCs have dropped. It's more 7/10 fare for you to give a go. I was looking forward to making my build more OP in this DLC with a slightly increased level cap I could pump points into some other categories, instead Obsidian created a new tier of perks that unlock at 150 instead of 100 so if you want a couple at the full 150 you will be even more specialised than before. Respect for doubling down on making build choices count but I wanted to be OP dammit! PS max sneak build new perk is sneak kills wont alert others, its so ridiculous, you kill guys standing next to each other and they don't react. Love it.
Tempted to get this 50% off steam sale this week... How did everyone find it? I'm not sure if I'm 100% sold on it watching YouTube vids.. And I've already used up my $1 for a month game pass on MSFS
too short, pretty easy but enjoyed it none the less. I'm talking the main game and the DLC here. worth it.
You will knock it out in 10-15 hours probably. Depending on how cheap it is and how much you can game in a month, I would just get a month of Gamepass and finish it off. Play other games that are there. Its fun. I enjoyed it for what it was which was basically a much smaller version of Fallout.
MUCH smaller. That was the thing that surprised me the most, all the areas are tiny and the game was far easier than I expected.
Found it extremely disappointing, small, boring, bad combat, bad AI, bad graphics. Not worth $40 IMO but would be fine for $20.
Yeah I'm patient gamer dad who has about an hour a day to play at night. Yeah I'm thinking the same thing.. Dunno if $40 is worth it, probably go free on EGS sometime this year Even on hardest difficulty? I tend to play games on hardest or one step down, depending on mechanics. If an FPS hasn't got headshots, hardest difficulty is just plain annoying tho
I just play on regular difficulty and it offered no challenge (NO I am not a gaming god/this is the easiest game ever type person). Being that Microsoft own the property now you are more likely to play this on Game Pass. Actually it's already on there https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/p/the-outer-worlds/9MWD2Z8L1FBQ?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
I just purchased this new for $15 from EB eBay during NY sales... haven't fired it up yet but looking forward to it, xbox one x. JSmith
Just finished off the second DLC, more of the same. Most completed achievements this time around at 0.02% completion is somewhat sobering lol
