It's AUD$4.95. I've been on it since they launched & have only been charged that.
I'm sure it'll go up once out of beta.

    So what’s the verdict guys?
Wasn’t gonna pick it up but couldn’t help myself

Will fire it up after dinner once little one has gone to bed.

Yeah I couldn't help myself either but using the xbox on pc for $1 then $4.95 I figured why wait. I'll most likely take no longer than 2 months to finish it so for that price it's a bargain.

Downloading now though so the waiting game begins

Hows everyone going for performance? My FPS is great at very high settings @ 1440p, but its stutters outside of town. I put the lock frame rate on to 144hz which made a difference but I had to go to work so could only test it for a minute.

Initial impressions in the first hour or so are very positive. Looking forward to playing it more!

until notified otherwise it'll go back to 10 i guess.

You guys will finish outer worlds in a month right? RDR2 is out next month anyway

I finished Vampyr last night in 8 hours. LOL

Man I loved Vampyr, definitely worth the $1 haha.

Maybe my stutter is more poor frame time or something. Possibly textures loading in? In town its smooth as butter. I'll report back once I've fiddled with it more.

it's a pretty good (bad?) petty thievery simulator, if nothing else. stand behind the cashier, jack his cash register that's standing right in front of him :)

    seems fun.

It's space Fallout. Literally Fallout with a new coat of paint and foliage.

I have max gfx settings going. nfi what frame rate is (nvidia overlay one won't show. I guess coz i'm running full screen window) but it's easily 120+. 3700X + rtx2070
    no stuttering

    It's not bad guys. Wow.

    GTX1080 GPU's running hot at 70C though.

I agree it's literally Space Fallout New Vegas, shinier coat of paint.

I think you pretty much described any Fallout or even Elder Scrolls games done in the past 10 years or so. :) It's basically an expected feature of games like this.

Space fallout is a perfect description haha, But it may be too much like a Bethesda game imo.

Interesting how we talk about performance more, how about gameplay and production value? Any good?

This, I keep hearing fallout in space. But I want to know how people actually find the gameplay. Also which fallout do I have to compare it to

With my rig it sits around 120fps+ outdoor and indoor 155fps+ on max @1440p with motion blur and film effects off... no stuttering. Using the Sniper and LMG for combat and loving it, but I keep wasting so much time looting everything in sight, having the ability to break weapons and armour down reduced the porting back to town.

Quite a few doors I cannot hack so need to raise that skill abit or find a companion that suits.
