I have an old TV (that still works!) that would go well with some of the gaming consoles posted in this thread:

And I'm trying to get rid of it! It's free to the first person who wants it (PM me). Pickup only (duh) and located in Brisbane (inner western suburb).

Note: I posted this in the trading forum a while back and didn't receive any interest for the TV, I thought it would be more suitable to give it away in this thread.

    Handhelds

Failing the space of Elvis, I've got a few handhelds instead. Always loved them as we spent a lot of time traveling as kids. Had then stored away in a cupboard so pulled them out tonight to take a few pics. Spent a bit too much time testing them out though :D

Gameboy Color - not my favourite as you can tell by only having two games. Loved Zelda though :D. Just fired it up and all works perfect!

Game Gear - this was my first handheld I bought with my brother. Fantastic. Couldn't understand why the Gameboy was more popular than this. The TV Tuner was the icing on the cake (even though the arial broke...). Fired it up and unfortunately the screens going :upset: Looking at it on a slight angle makes it fine, but straight on it is a washed out picture. Damn it!!!
All good games too. Sonic was fantastic on this, as was NBA Jam, Ecco and even Mortal Kombat was decent.

Neo Geo Pocket Color - so portable this one. Small and it had Metal Slug!! What else do i need to say? Plays perfect!

Lynx 2 - couldn't resist this one. Hard Driving on it was mad. As in 3D polygons that ran at about 4 fps. The real highlight is Desert Strike. A good version of it! Still great condition :D

Nomad - this one i bought when i started working and had some spare cash. How could i resist a portable Megadrive that was never released in Australia? Had been modded with a switch to be able to play PAL and NTSC games. Plays great - just had a knock about with Streets of Rage 2! Old school!

I also have a PSP, but hardly in the league of those above :D

    Very nice handheld collection, jordanp.

I've only got the Nintendo line (Gameboy Color, Original GBA, GBA SP, 2x NDS). I've been keen to grab both the Lynx and GameGear for ages.

I love all the portables. I haven't seen a Nomad before.

I had a massive Sega Master System Collection, 400 games, several consoles which expanded into 2 Sega Game Gears, (with the TV attachment) then 3 Atari Lynx, all with a heap of games.

Favorite game was Sonic Spinball on Game Gear.

Sold the whole lot on ebay for a (comparative) pittance when scraping the house deposit together.

    I has a sad now. :(

assuming you mean Lynx 1 and Lynx 2

a Lynx is not a playstation!

also worth mentioning that the 2 is actually "fatter" than the 1, just shorter.

so maybe lynx short and long....
