New VR RPG/Puzzler game Asgard's Wrath is looking good (Oculus Exclusive)
Just watched the whole thing, looks really good.
The intro tutorial till you get to the tavern is mad and looks great in VR really a good game by the looks of it.
That's as far as I got so far and even the tavern makes you feel like your actually in a rpg game world with orcs, smiths etc.
Need to play more and will try to do so soon if I have motivation.
Only 25HRs of gameplay?
I read it's about 40 hours of you do everything.
Still better and longer than most VR games.
It certainly looks impressive from the teasers.
Humble have a VR/AR game development bundle currently with the Zenva courses.
So if you're looking to try your hand at developing a VR game might be worth a look.
It has the Zenva courses to teach you how to make different types of the games and see how things are done, it's split to to different tiers.
I've picked up bunch of games on sale recently as well as that Asgards Wrath but too much going on and I just CBF to strap on the headset, must get back into it!
Another Indigala VR bundle going.
Special place for today as of this post.
Why is he wearing a vive then?
Its a Rift S, he changed his head mounting bracket on it, he has a vid showing how he used Velcro etc to use a different head mount for the headset.
He owns all headsets btw.
Nice. Come to think of it I have a vive deluxe audio strap in a box at home never opened, cause I ended up getting rid of my vive before it arrived and did intend to use it on Pimax using the 3D printed mounting setup but Pimax was so bad it went in the bin. I know the rules here with selling but maybe I can give it away. Haha.
I've been enjoying Pistol Whip since that came out late last week.
Updated first post moving some games from upcoming and added Half-Life Alyx as upcoming along with the OCAU thread.
Added V-Katsu a free VR version of the 'KoiKatsu' character maker.
There's a English patch, worth a look for a free VR anime creator.
If there are other games or changes or VR software, tools etc that should be added let me know and I'll update the posts.
As for me I played the PT demo that was recreated, tried Last Labyrinth, loosely similar in style to the 3DS game Beyond the
Labyrinth, with a girl you need to help, which was excellent.
Some big name devs in it.
Mainly been building a VRChat world, motivation to play games hasn't been there much recently.
Vader Immortal - episode 3 tomorrow
