Having a centralised storage space would be great for sharing files around the different devices my family has.

I would replace my recently purchased SeagateCentral that doesn't even support transmission bittorrent client nor plex media server. I would then no longer have to leave the pc on (where the bittorrent client and plex media server are running).

I would use it as a door stop....

I dont have a network backup drive like most of these people and it would be real handy to have as right now every thing is all over the place and not organized at all.

I would give the NAS to my brother. He has a large collection of DVDs and has recently gotten into XBMC.

I would use this as a media server so that I wouldn't need to plug HDD into the tv all the time.

After playing with it I would use it as a main backup for all my PCs, phones, photos, videos and music. Being able to torrent would be handy and I could save power and money.

I could also take it to Mum's place when I have new TV shows for her. My laptop is slow and clunky so that would be pretty sweet!

To move all my media to a central point. Having multiple hard drives is a pain.

I would use it for storing all the files I have on my PC currently, allowing me to ditch the tower and move to a laptop

I currently live on a remote farm where there are four houses joined into one, I have a high end laptop that I download movies onto and everyone tries to stream off it! I need a media service/storage area so I can get back to gaming on my laptop to pass the time as there is NOTHING to do here but drink rum cans and have intercourse with my cousins.....

EDIT: And all my cousins are male :p

I would use the Thecus N2310 to collect all the dust in my cupboard.
There it would sit, creating heat for the cats to curl up near, and a spot for the dust to collect. I'd eventually get around to putting it on my home network, and use it to store all the porn on the internet

I'd use the Thecus NAS to finally put my crappy Aldi (MEDION) NAS in the bin as well as my ridiculously slow WesternDigital MybookWorld from years ago. I'm getting sick and tired of having to reset them just to grab a few files when I need them!
