So I've replaced the thermal pads on my video card but discovered in the process that the pads I had bought are not that good. When cutting them to size they sort of crumble and really are nothing like the stretchy silicone that I have come across from some OEM stuff. They are hard to work with and I am questioning the cooling capabilities as a result.

This is what I bought (in various sizes):

Can anybody please recommend some thermal pads that are actually decent quality and don't crumble? I will need to buy a couple of sizes to get the job done.

Gelid, thermalright are 2 brands that I've tried and work well.
They are a bit harder and stiffer than the oem stuff but that's because less silicone in it for higher thermal conductivity but by no means crumbly.
The oem stuff is softer and more resilient because of the increased silicone content and it lasts longer but doesn't conduct as much heat.
    There's always some compromise
