Just noticed my old PC which has this case and is used by my other half seems to be hitting CPU temp warnings. OK only 65Degrees but I thought with 3- 12cm and 2-90Mm fans it would be fine. Been so for me when I used it so Sims 3 must work the cpu a bit.

What I noticed is that all 12cm fans run at 650rpm whereas the specs say 1300rpm. Can someone who has 1 comment what theirs are at?

    The fans are TT1225s

I thought maybe the fans are running undervoltage. At 650rpm they are not moving much.

Cleaned it out anytime lately? ie dust?

Also it sounds like they are running at 7v.

Not dusty it just had a full neaten up when my wife's raid failed.

Yes that is my feel they spec it as 1300rpm but setup the fans as slower. That is what many posts around the net imply. I just was interested in any1 who had 1 and can theirs is at.

Is that the stock fan with red blades? I had mine running for a month and then I ditched it. I believe mine was running @1200 - 1300.

Are you using fan controller? 650rpm seems a bit slow.

I'm with plzdontbetaken on this one. Maybe it's running @ 7v.

Try connecting it directly to PSU, see what happens.

No clear plastic Blue LED as supplied by Thermaltake in the case.

Checked 2 of the 3 shows both in bios and Asus probe as 659rpm approx

Will take 1 out and connect to my test box.

If the max temp of the CPU is 65c, I wouldn't worry about it. That's fine for a Core 2 Duo.

I know though I prefer it to stay max 60C.

that said I looked at the cables and the power cable's red wire from the fan goes to the yellow cable on the molex and the black to the black next to the yellow.

That implies 12V I understand so the fans are definitely under spec.

OK rewired the case neatened up the cables and somehow all fans now running at 1460rpm as they should. Sorry for leading you all astray.

What happened is all the 3 fan's molexs were on the 1 power cable and 1 connection must have been a bad contact. I replugged all molexs into each other and now all fans fine.
