    Fk this aquacooling shit!
My Octo was DOA and kEv_ only discovered it late at the end of the build process, so I rushed and purchased a quadro when I really should have got another Octo (which) would have covered control of all my fans, sensors and the pump

No good mate - paying that kind of money it's always a kick in the teeth when you get a dud. Can always patch it up later though, as long as it's functional the '100%' stuff can follow later

I persisted because persistence beats resistance.

Uninstalled and re-installed aquasuite and somehow it retained most of the names I'd modified

Front fans repatched and confirmed working (with splitters) and no more sickening noise.
    • High Flow Next working as expected
    • Quadro working
      • Intake temp sensor connected
      • Pump PWM signal on FAN 1
      • 3x BQ Silent Wings 4 120s PWM High Speed on FAN 2 (instead of 2x stock Silverstone 200s) front intake pushing through 9 FPI SR1-360
      • 2x Silverstone Air Blazer 120s (for now) on FAN 3 Pushing exhaust through alphacool 240mm radiator top mounted.
      • ID-Cooling 120 (thin) on FAN 4 rear minimal exhaust
Managed to modify the displayed items using the sensor data from the other device(s).

    Basic displays:

Idle water temp is good mate - load her up and see where you top out!

Want to change the top two Air blazers for the last of the silent wings 4s (then I can run from zero to two and a half thousand rpm).

It's a bit of a four handed job though as the top radiator needs disconnecting from the case to get at one or two of the fan screws...
kEv_ may come over, but I can probably do this with my my son and now I've seen the first signs of delta; kEv_'s knowledge of aquasuite and configuration thereof might be more better utilised than just an extra set of hands with the radiator LOL
He's been so good to me with his help and knowledge...

Man's a legend, no doubt about it. Can the young fella hold the radiator for you while you swap the fans out?

Well, I kicked a few goals again today.

Finally got the little BMW G310R off the property after selling her last week.
Best way to see the fan screws and work on the computer was to turn it upside down on my workbench (formerly known as an office chair).
After realising the new fan was too tight and remembering kEv_'s comment about "having to Dremel the fan shroud a little to make it fit", I ended up doing the same to the new fan...
Finished the fan changeouts and she's now running.

Will try to work out how to create the signal from Delta and do some fan profiles over the next few days.

Also thinking about what this guy has shared, and note his target water temp of 40 :Paranoid:
    My installation is x76

So, being a builder's labourer I'm not exactly academic smart. Did not use Delta in my first fan curve, but my first "stress run" worked quite well. The computer sounds quiet, the fans and pump ramp up based on aquacomputer's auto design curve with a base fan of 50% and a minimum pump speed of 70% (Rear exhaust slim 120mm runs at minimums to stop her sucking dust into the box). At least I will not be stressing out unnecessarily while working on improving the settings... :)

    Idling on video...

So, I got a little further down the road:
Happy with the build and think it looks pretty sweet even though I have some more work to do on integrating Delta temp into the fan curves. (Sans glass)
Finally added the Barrowch FBEHD-01 I've had for ages... :weirdo:

Finally worked out how to get AS to display gauges automatically on the Barroch/ZEROmod screen (and) reduced the clutter on the desktop LOL

Need to do the AS' outputs and fan curves properly now as the fans are pretty well roaring away most of the time. :(
It was running fairly quiet until I added the curves.

Coolant seems to get up to about 33-34ish in a game session, which seems reasonable although the fans are working hard...

kEv_ , juzz86 After watching another Leo @ KitGuru I'm thinking very seriously of changing out the HWL/BlackIce 360 (9 TPI) for an EKWB Quantum Surface P360M (M4 screws 8mm taller 10mm thinner 18 TPI & DRAIN port) OR possibly better to go with an
Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 360 V.2 (M3 screws 2.5mm shorter 9mm thinner 12 TPI & DRAIN port) while maintaining some continuity.

Struggling to find any meaningful comparisons on cooling capacity, but it would not take much (cut hole in bottom of case) to modify the system while adding a much better ability to drain AND bleed the loop...

    Looks like the Alphacool?

There'll be a smidge of extra heat capacity in it for you either way Dave - go with whichever gives you the easiest bleed/drain points mate.

I know that the theory says the higher the FPI, the better the cooling, but also haven't come across any comparisons that only compare this factor alone to see what real world difference there is in a system. Can't be a bad thing to swap them out, but you may not notice a difference is all.

About to move this stuff into Samicans 011 Dynamic soon I hope... Might do a build log.
