So yeah only zeropluszero knows about this , but I have offical endorsement from K|NGP|N

from the email I got back to my question

Man, I've always imagined how bad ass a solid silver F1 would be :) Sure, you have my blessing. All I ask is that you give credit to where the original design and inspiration came from, that’s it. I don’t need licensing fees or anything like this and yes if the pot ends up being a killer, I might ask you to make me one ;) I've done anything and everything in the name of overclocking the last 15 years, this is the spirit I like to see so yah I'm all for it. Keep me updated..

    Vince

Looks like I got a definite starting point for my silver work now

Think what he is try to say, is he had an idea to make a kingpin F1 Dark CPU Pot replica from Silver, and he has managed to get Kingpins approval to make it.

Be cool to see how it goes, and if used whether it performs well too.

How long till you have some pictures? And are you going to do a log of its conception?

If you could access industrial ones price would be more reasonable than you think. I remember reading something about indusry using 3000 years worth of Jewelry diamonds a year or something (maybe that much stockpiled).

would need to be a single solid diamond, otherwise it would be crushed diamond in a binding agent, and the binding agent would be the defining material for thermal conductivity.

it is because of the highly organized crystalline structure, so as above only would work as a single massive diamond. but yes I had considered what it would take to make diamond thermal paste to go with my silver blocks.

working on the furnace / kiln to be able to do this, but once that is firing will progress quickly I hope. Going to start with aluminum trinkets (OCAU bottle opener, Nvidia keyring and a horde arrowhead, then design I have for my razer seiren base turning it into chroma) then some work in copper to get used to higher temps, then first thing I will cast in silver is some coins for my family to honor my dad, then my slight twist on Kingpin's pot, going to add dragon heads that will spit out nitrogen 'smoke' to the reverse engineered pot, (could have asked kingpin for dxf or something but more hacker to reverse engineer, plus having direct permission to do so is awesome) but also, I still 100% recognize Vince's IP and as such can't show the inside of the pots either his or my take on his.

SO yeah working on the reverse engineering and then printing in PLA on my 3D printer so when I get the rest of the tools to work my furnace/kiln I will be ready to rock. will hopefully have pics of what I will be casting after weekend

Diamond thermal paste has already been tried and it's crap. http://www.innovationcooling.com/

Use Thermal Grizzly or Gelid Extreme.

in it's final application it is just about something to do, this is just something I want to do as a fun thing to do and test the science at it's most extreme,
