    Hey guys,

What would people suggest for games that I could just sink DAYS worth of time into?

With holidays coming up, I need something engaging... I like strategy/role playing/construction games, not much into FPS.

What would people suggest I play?

Currently trying out The Sims, American Truck Sim. Thinking of Minecraft for some building fun...

It looks interesting... Anyway to test it out before buying?

From what I've heard, Factorio is what you want. I've not played because I'm too scared of spending too much time on it  I mean, the thread title on here tells the story: Never ever play Factorio...

I've also sunk a lot of hours into Europa Universalis IV. Similar games from the same company such as Crusader Kings 2 and Stellaris might be worth a shot too. I think Stellaris just got a new expansion too.

I've heard some really good things about Ark. I might grab that. I've got all the CIVs and they're a favourite, but I don't think I'll play them much over the holidays.

They Are Billions. I had to actually uninstall it after 75 hours, it was such a time soak.

Lots of good suggestions, but my vote goes here... 273hrs to date on it, all challenges and achievements were ticked off (they've added more), Nightmare / Brutal combo tests me but I've beaten it a few times!

What a shame this isnt out yet - it looks right up your alley (and mine)

but yes - you could pick up Subnautica for free (in 2 more days) at the new Epic Games Store - go in blind and it will take 50 to 100 hours, depending on how relaxed you are about it.

I’ll probably check out subnautica. Only thing I like more than a good game is a good free game ;)

But I guess I’ll also check out they are billions.

Might be an unpopular choice but have you played No Mans Sky? Very chill.

I did actually look at that, and played a bit on a mates account, but it wasn't quite what I wanted.
