Just need the Psu and DVD Drive to be black now  and do you have a fan blowing on the underside of the HDD if so how effective is it at dropping the temps?

$40!? Book marked for sure ;)

I'd be using rubber/silicon washers on a lot of the case screws to protect the color.

    Looks good.

Did they plug the screw holes before coating or did you clean them up with a tap afterwards?

Yeh there is, but its supposed to be facing down, blowning air away from the hdd i think, but the stupid design of the scythe rafter bay means that if i run it horizontally (like you would a normal hdd) i have to take out the frount bay cover which makes it looked stupid)
Yeh i was pretty surprised when they said $40, well initially they said $30 for 5 pieces (2 5.25" bay sides, motherboard tray, middle devider and the rear psu cover) but then i remembered the pci expansion slots, the motherboard tray rails etc etc so it came to 12 pieces, only $10.
Probably should have used rubber washers but eh, theres always going to be screws there so who cares ;)
Nope, left the holes wide open and they didnt clog the threads.

If there is some paint in the threads, it just comes out really easily by just putting the appropriate screw into the hole.

No offence but that powder coating looks orange-peely, much similar to the shifty and cheap job I got done on some things of mine.

None the less, looks nice

Cable tie a fan in the bay above it on an angle so it blows onto it and down kinda like

Whats with the 2x80mm ram fans? They look way out of place, does it even help with overclocks/stability?

Yes they dont fully cover the ram slots cuz of the design of the motherboard but yes they do help stability and my cpu runs a few C cooler aswell.

Those 80mm fans push a fair bit of air together so yes it keeps the ram, cpu and also the nb cool aswell.

Is your ram overclocked? Those clear antec fans are rather loud and it looks like there are already a ton of fans in that case as it is :Paranoid:

when running over 4.2, the ram runs at about 1050ish with 2v pumping thru it so yeh they get pretty warm.

As for noise, other fans in there are louder so i dont care.

Aren't the rear fans on the TJ07 92mm? They can be replaced with Noctuas.

Also, I thought the 2 rear fans were meant to be intakes and the top fans exhaust, you have them the opposite way around.

thats how they came to me

Noctuas are a great idea, except they're ugly, they're expensive and they're ugly

2 is enough ugly atm haha.

and the only intake is the top 2 120mm fans :wired:

I just checked and I was correct, the rear fans are meant to be intake fans whilst the top fans are meant to be exhaust. When in doubt, consult the Gameman-

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDSkubfWaPM&feature=player_embedded#t=219

So yeah, if they came installed that way then someone must of Fxxked with them.

BTW, Scythe also make some good 92mm fans if you were ever interested in replacing them.

And yeah, I agree that Noctua fans look awful. I traded mine for Scythe S-Flex here on OCAU.

Yeah looks like they didn't prepare the case properly before actually powdercoating it =\. Still an alright job, I've seen much much worse :D.
