One of the great games is coming back in September!
And if you want to watch the history of the game
YES YES YES!
unfortunately, it seems that all the original music isn’t going to be in the game due to licensing issues!
so no blood brothers still looks like they are staying faithful to the original atleast in the maps design.
That's a bit of a downer, but if the maps and physics are untouched still worth it.
Also a chance for some fresh songs I guess.
I was playing THPS 2 recently and it is still very playable even today. Hopefully this new one gets more kids into skateboarding again.
Let's make Andrew Reynolds a household name again!
Looks like it might only be a few of the originals that won't make it? From the limited reading I've done, most of the soundtrack(s) seem to be coming over. Can't wait!
Lets hope its not like this steaming pile of crap.
does it come with a time when you could live on $12 an hour and a regular supply of spliffs for the ultimate throwback experience? LOL
This brings back memories when Nutri-Grain came with a copy of either Matt Hoffman Pro BMX or Tony Hawks Pro Skate PC game back in early noughties.
I’ve still got my Nutri Grain copy of THPS2. Played the hell out EA Cricket 96 out of a Weet Bix box too. Long before Epic was giving away free games we had Kellogg’s and Sanitarium!
I never got into the free-roam THPS games and the recent remaster was underwhelming from what I remember of reviews.
Here's hoping for this one. Far too many hours spent on holidays playing THPS1 on N64, much to my parents chagrin. Lets go to the beach for two weeks so you can play video games?
i actually was watching speed runs, and ended up on a Tony Hawk speedrun video where the guy got everything in a level in one run.. was unbelieveable. Those SKATE letters were freaking hard
The remaster was bad, no matter how many bums I ollied it just didn't feel right.
(also nice use of the word chagrin)
This could be what Pro Skater HD should have been. That game was GARBAGE.
Vicarious Visions did the Crash Bandicoot trilogy remaster which indicates they should nail the feel of the original here too.
Pro Skater 2X on OG Xbox holds up incredibly well but this will be a good release for anyone that doesn't have an old console to play it on.
It would be a bit weird playing without the original tracks;
I've still got a modded original PS1 and this game.
I remember these! My kids are amazed that you used to get toys and all other sorts of shit in the bottom of your cereal box! I wouldn't mind seeing it bought back, but nannies say no
$85 on epic store. Fuck off lol.
Will pick up at some point.
$85 yeah screw that.
