Last May I took a long weekend - stretched it to 5 days - and headed back to the Italian Riviera where I had visited a couple of years earlier. Playing tour guide to a couple of friends we spent a day in Pisa before heading to le Cinque Terre via Lucca then Camogli and a final day in Genoa.

Wow! Was the second one from your accommodation, absolutely stunning.

As far as the others, really nice shots, getting the exposure bang on really helps the colours

:( I tried everything I could to get to Cinque Terre in September but couldnt find anywhere to stay at such short notice. So this really bums me out because the photos are epic. #4 and #5 are obvious winners for me.

Great shots mate brings back memories for me :)

Should have done a day trip from Pisa gala as a last resort! That's what I ended up doing and made it to 3 or 4 of the 5 towns. Next time dude.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

ZirconiumZephyr: View from the apartment. I wish! That was taken from a little square/plaza about 20m from the back door; good spot for a few beers.
This was the view from the apartment.

Sir Ghallahad: Funny you should mention trouble with accommodation. As they had a lot of issues finding our booking. Wasn't the best feeling as we arrived at about 10PM after bording the wrong train and this was after the couple in front of us had been turned away because they had no booking.
There's actually quite a nice little hostel in Biassa about 5-10mins away up the hill on the bus which never seems to be full. Nice views too.

I was there earlier this year, and ended up in Bonnasala.

I wouldn't reccomend it, because it's a good 15min drive on a motorcycle to get to the start of Cinque Terre, but it was better than nothing.

Did you get a chance to do the hike? I did (Had to ignore a path closed sign, but then again, so did a bunch of others and it was fine)

Took me 5 hours of solid walking but it was incredible. :) the views coming down into each town took my breath away. The water was so clear, weather was perfect... Seriously want to go back!

Really love the look of number 3 you eyes just follow those stairs down. Should organise a field trip to EU next year.
