I have some swan speakers that I want to use with bluetooth audio as well as computer audio.

I purchased a logitech bluetooth device that turns it bluetooth but I want both to be connected.

So I was looking to purchase this https://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021808&p_id=669&seq=1&format=2

The issue is that it says that I can't use it to combine two signals or it might cause damage, is that true?

I don't intend two audio signals to play at once but it could accidently happen.

Any alternative ways to do what I'm trying to do?

Yes that's true- it could potentially result in a combined distorted signal being amplified.

You need either a) an input selector (one source at a time) or b) a mixer

Couldn't this only happen if the signal was louder then one signal at its loudest?

that's not how it works, you're back feeding voltage into devices that shouldn't be getting it and if they don't have output protection, you can fry them. It's like eating food from your ass.

A mixer is what you want. You can get some pretty cheap 2 way "portable DJ" mixers. Something along the lines of this

    Just look around.
