noob question here on pic 10 (bagpipe guy) i notice it was shot on ISO1250 @ 1/6400 wouldn't you normally want to drop the ISO and lower the shutter speed to compensate?
I actually needed that high shutterspeed as the piper's hands and the boat were moving so fast I couldn't risk blurring them. The real answer is that I have got really, really complacent with my 5d3 and it's high-iso abilities. I usually am on aperture priority and before this shot I was in an area that was a little shaded. As such, I bumped up the ISO for that shot and in my excitement I clean forgot about it cos it's never really an issue any more. So, yeah, usually I wouldn't shoot with that high an ISO but I did
