A nice that looks like jut a normal projector screen. The ALR screens provide better day time (or bright ambient) viewing. Basically they only accept light coming from the bottom (the projector) so the picture is much brighter.

My question, is the 3000 dollars more worth it? I could buy 2 TU8000 for that much.

    God I hate buying tvs.

Lol... QLED is ok, its no OLED for performance. If you just want a nice big image just get a TU or a projector if gaming doesnt matter lol

100" fixed ALR PET crystal screen, this should be here mid next week

thinking LG SN11RG for the soundbar, with a 3yo running around don't want wires for the rears.
really like the JBL with battery powered rears but only 1 HDMI input.. pfft!

PJ + screen came to ~AU$3600 delivered

Bloody hell I am tempted. How are you going to handle media? From the reviews some people complaining that the menus weren't great due to the translation but I sure this could solved with a roku or chromecast?

Look into the issues with CRYSTAL made screens.

I am thinking of either a vividstorm 120 ALR floor rising electric or a DIY via CARLS materials.

yes i really liked the vividstorm too, but too much $$, more than the projector!
