Here are some shots I took for a band recently, I got paid for this so if someone thinks it's a bad idea posting them (no contracts were signed) let me know so I can take them down and avoid problems. It's a small band so I doubt anyone will use them for commercial gain :p

Damn it's hard to get a decent shot of a drummer...

    Most shots ISO1600, a couple ISO1250 or ISO800

    Canon 5D

Most shot with EF 135/2L wide open, a couple shot with Pentax-A 50/1.2 at f/2.

    *shots removed*

5 & 7 are my picks, I reckon there's just something about rock gigs and motion blur.
But good quality pics throughout the set as always

Wow! These are really really good. I try and do a bit of band photography myself, and you've clearly used the lighting to your best advantage in a lot of these shots.
    They are great.

some nice shots here...used the lighting well

though judging by the crowd and their look, a few more energetic looking shots would have been nice.....these have an art/emotional feel to them (black/white would have contributed to this) but no raw sense

if you get what I mean anyway....there was that one head banging motion blur shot - but a fair few blank face unenergetic stares

unless that is all their performance contains - then you done well considering the circumstances :)

No 5 kinda freaked me out on first glance, haha... "Whoa satan-head!" Awesome capture  I like the lighting on 10 too, nice and crisp. Good use of movement in the set for sure.
