Would be impossible for me cos I'm on air, and my GPU runs ~68-70C when overclocked so I'll probably need ~5C ambient temp.

    But finally broke 30K. :D

Heh thanks.. tbh never thought I'd get 30+k cos when I had 9900K and G.Skill 4133, I couldn't even run the memory at 3800.. I thought it was most likely due to my mobo and most people agreed, but looks like it was due to 9900K's IMC cos I don't have any problem running 4000 with 9900KS and Team Exclaibur RAM on same mobo. :)

Also these ram ICs you have may like your board more than the previous ram IC's you had, although the previous ones you had a baller ones....

Had similar issues. Had that Sammy B-Die Team 4000 kit which did not want to go over 3600 C16, but these Sammy Trident z 3600 kit goes all the way to 4133 C16 fine (Less efficient though, better score in SP at 4000 C16...have not had time to tighten timings down yet). Would also have something to do with the fact that G.Skill and Asus tend to work well together whereas as Team tend to work well with gigabyte or ASRock

I submitted a HWBOT 10337 1080P Xtreme score for H20 and got position 20. Was a warm arvo yesterday - so meh..

    Great results Dannyboi

If not already, you should be part of a HWBOT OC Team. I am with Australia OC, but of course there are many.

Hey guys, looks like I am out for now. I went to re-paste my GPU with Kryonaut (from the stock stuff you get with the block) and temps are worse, not better. I know it is not the mount. Not sure what is going on.

Should have left the dam block alone (I am all about science and trying all the physics stuff first before replacing parts with better binned stuff).

Is kryonaut not good for GPU and only for CPU? I would assume no!!

But can't play for a little while due to other shit going on. Looking for a CPU but that is proving too difficult (money here but want a bargain like anyone - as this is a hobby).

I would like a little more than four cores...just not fair at all really..

    Thanks. :)

Can be finicky I have found. Sometimes I find that Kryonaut stuff really thick, dry and crusty dunno if that causes any issues. I use conductonaut for everything so not too sure sorry. Re do and try again. ?

Well rig is built had some issues with lightning Z removing the stock cooler and replacing with waterblock appears that it bricks itself when fans are removed detects voltage irregularities on the fan headers, flashed with new BIOS all good
i9 9900KF RTX2080 Ti Lightning Z 32 Gig 3600 ram Asus ROG Maximus formula XI all running water on dual rad setup, have to do some more tuning this was quick and rough....

Bumped my score a bit higher with a CPU OC change (5.2 with -2AVX, to 5.0 with no AVX. It seemed to be constantly swapping 5-5.2 otherwise, now its always 5)
RAM OC thanks to the guide posted here: https://forums.overclockers.com.au/threads/ddr4-oc-guide.1274088/
I never bothered OCing my RAM before. Read that guide, found I have Samsung B-die. Bumped from stock 3200 up to 3600mhz...haven't tried touching timing or going higher.

This is my daily use and gaming OC by the way. I am keen to see if I can push the CPU to 5.1 without AVX offset, perhaps with more voltage. And see if I can get more out of the RAM. Unfortunately my GPU seems to be at its limit already. I tried to flash a higher power limit bios (the MSI 406w one) but it won't let me for some reason. Meanwhile I'm maxing out at 54 degrees feeling like there must be more in there...

Had a few hours to play around...got a new daily stable ram OC, and got a bit more out of the GPU :) At this point I'm hitting diminishing returns pretty bad in terms of time investment versus performance gain, I think I'm pretty close to my system's limit now. Ambient temp is around 10 degrees worse than it was during my prior results, fixing that is probably my best bet for higher score at this point haha.
Corsair vengeance LED, stock 3200mhz 16-18-18-36. Now at 3600mhz 15-15-15-32
    8700k @ 5.1ghz (unchanged from previous)
With the galax hof bios (400w power limit) I was able to push the gpu to 2160/8420. By using the voltage-frequency curve to lock gpu voltage at 1.093v. On stock MSI bios, if I locked VF curve it was often hitting the 330w power limit and then reducing voltage causing frequency to drop. With 400w bios, it peaks ~345w, so not a huge increase but it stays at 1.093v throughout.

    29547 - MSI RTX 2080Ti Gaming X Trio @ 2160 / 8420 - 8700k @ 5.1GHz - 16GB Corsair Vengeance LED @ 3600 15-15-15-32 - Strix Z370-f - munchkin1

    Nice.

Holding / locking the voltage is pretty important for benching and makes a big difference. Only thing is if you use that voltage - frequency curve it drops the score down for bench tests.

So it's either unstable voltage up and down like a yoyo using the normal slider or stable voltage but lower scores using the curve.

Since you kinda removed the power issue somewhat you now only have temperature holding it back which is fairly easy to manage.

    GL.
