Fun Fact: Was going to join up with TPG in 2005, even bought the router from them (which they would not take back) but could not get adsl until early 2007...

    :Paranoid:

How bad are we talking here?

From the looks of things i am glad i stuck to a ISP who sorts out their congestion issues :S

Been with TPG Unlimited for about 1.5 months now and it's great!

Fast speeds, great sync speeds, unlimited it is perfect.

No slow downs at all. If there is slow downs it was due to my wires having interference.

    Get constant 1.9-2.1MB/s

    Uptime: 33:51:39
    Downspeed: 22679000
    Upspeed: 22679000

There is no line drawn. All you can eat depending on how much you can handle or how many hard drives you have.

You can try (which I am doing) downloading the whole internet.

I do around 1tb a month on average (will decrease for the next 3 months due to lack of decent shows being the US is in summer mode) upload is not counted for me, but i do keep a 1.00 ratio with my favourite linux iso provider.

Not really, 200gb is still a decent amount, just depends on what you do with it i suppose.

myself personally im a data whore, and have a nasty habit of storing it rather then using it and getting rid of it.

I am also on the epic quest to download the internets.

Does it matter when you have 500G of quota per month?

What the heck do you download? Blu-ray movies? Seems kind of pointless downloading many times as much content as you could watch, you'd never keep up with the amount of stuff you are downloading so you are paying to store something that is completely useless.

I only have 170GB a month and even then i only just have enough time to watch everything i download.

I would use about 60Gig of my 100G monthly quota.....so 500G to me would be rather useless.

    I'm up and down.

Most months, i do less than 50. This month i'm almost shaped!

I guess you would have to get a rapidshare account or something to make it worth while.

Rapidshare/Usenet/P2P....whichever. Pretty easy to rack up lots of gig using any of those.

As am I, although I'm only on amnet 70/140 plan. I'm just thinking of the children. Someone will have to back up the internet for the future generations in case it ever gets filtered/destroyed/corrupted etc.

The 200GB Premium looks good, 4mbs/1mbs throttling.
